To combine basic research, scientific test, technical development and equipment industrialization into a whole system, and to improve the quality of our product in Areas like Cement business, Building Materials, Infrastructure, Environmental Protection, Water Treatment, Minning Works, Energy Area, and other industries, technological research centers are established to cover multi-discipline professional laboratories and testing center responsible for basic research, engineering technology and equipment research, testing and evaluation.

The main laboratories are Cement Engineering Technology laboratory, Environmental Engineering Technology Laboratory, Water Engineering Technology Laboratory, New energy Engineering Technology Laboratory, Materials Research and Testing Center, Construction Project Evaluation and Testing Center, Environmental Assessment and Testing Center, Industrial Intelligent Laboratory.

CDI not only engages in such R & D and technological innovation areas like high-tech services industry, new energy & energy-saving technology, resource & environment technology, electronic information technology, transformation of traditional industry by high technology but also has undertaken the national technology-supporting project and provincial important technology & equipment innovation project. For technology applied in the new dry-process cement production, CDI takes the first lead in accomplishing the design and equipment configuration for a 10000 TPD cement production line by using its own exclusive technology and equipment. CDI has also stepped into an advanced stage in such technologies like new dry-process cement calcining, powder fabrication technology, major equipment configuration, research and development on new grate cooler, major roller-type grinding, programming of DCS controlling system, etc.
